2010 Grading

Borders Martial Arts students recently overcame the bad weather to completed a grading seminar where they were coached and put through their examination to qualify for their next step up the ladder towards a black belt, the students had to demonstrate their syllabus work and self-defence techniques to a panel. everyone was sucessful on this occasion, with the following gaining new belts.
Ryan Patterson, Lewis Patterson, Kyle Mitchell, Rory Paul, Greg Purcell, Ian Grant and Reece Mcnaughton all gained Junior White belts. Alisdair Thomson and Donna Crump White belts.
Ethan Deakin Junior Yellow belt. Jake Shepherd and Freyja Allen Junior Orange belt. Ryan Craig Green belt. Ewan Allen, Tamsin Budge Junior Blue belts. Tony Bates Blue belt and the highest grade went to Derek Whitten who gained his Purple belt. Chief Instructor John Wilson said that the standard was higher than the last grading, and wished all the students to keep up the good work
